This is an unexpectedly esoteric manga, but it stands out from other series in a good way. The story is absurd, but not aimless; there’s a plot developing in this otherwise comfortable romcom.
One understandably might give up on the translation at first because of the strange dialogue, but it’s moreso the author expecting us to read between the lines a bit (which you wouldn’t expect based on this manga’s premise).
Overall, the characters are fun, the art is great — especially in later chapters which improve everywhere — it legitimately made me laugh, and there is a romance kick. Worth a read if solely ...

The kind of romance manga is needed for those who have lost affections over years. I'm not joking. The interactions between them is really casual and wholesome. Main Character is like combining Hikigaya and Miyamura :3 The best thing that I like about this manga is Heroine, Mitsuishi-san. She is not your ordinary romance manga's heroine. Everything she does is really silly, cute, weird and funny. I wish this manga to release new chapters per week but it's still at 29 chapters. "Mitsuishi-san is Being Weird This Year" is as all is in this absurdly large sea of wholesome romance manga.
A brief overview of the plot here is that it basically revolves around the relationship between top student Mitsuishi and a more average Hajime. Whilst it is just basically that with whatever life throws in the SoL realm, the way the story allows for more casual interactions between the two characters such that it comes across as more human than just formulated was quite nice to see.
