Since the production team was limited location-wise, they had to get creative when choosing filming spots and building sets. Some scenes were supposed to take place in New Orleans' French Quarter, but since the cast and crew couldn't travel to Louisiana, they transformed a courtyard in Downtown Los Angeles to look like New Orleans.
